I started this website because I love stories, especially stories with mythic underpinnings. Â When I was little, I called them spooky stories, and I still love my spooky stories. Â And monsters and magic and mystery, a fog-shrouded moor or a dark, abandoned mansion, and yet I don’t have a place to share my favorite stories.
I have my website, MuseCraftâ„¢, where I write about my writing process, coaching, and other creative pursuits.  But I don’t have a place for my first love, stories.  I’m going to work on fixing that, starting with this list of 100 movies I really like.  After the first three, these are in no particular order.  Those three are the movies I will watch every time I run across them on TV.  The rest are movies I really enjoy watching.
I will probably add to this list because I know I’ve forgotten some, probably even movies I really love. Â But this is a good starting place. Â Later I’ll write about the story lines of some of these and what it is that makes me like them, but for now here’s a list of pure enjoyment.

I think I have watched almost EVERY movie you listed and LOVE a lot of them, we must run around the same stories!! The newest Vin Diesel Movie “Riddick” is good, My husband didn’t like it as much but I thought it was pretty great! Also Man Of Steel (new Superman) was pretty cool too, they changed up a few things, which I think make the storyline MUCH better.
I haven’t seen “Riddick” or “Man of Steel.” I thought I didn’t want to see another Superman movie, but now that you’ve mentioned the changes they made, I think I’ll check it out.
I know I’m going to be adding to my list (maybe I can make it to 500 movies?), but first I think I need to rewatch some of these I haven’t seen in ages. You know, just to make sure I still love them. 🙂
